stop signs 03:34
well i can’t do the numbers all up in my head without wetting the paper and using my hands and i have to sing right from the top of the alphabet well i had to buy earplugs for the grocery store i don’t think i can listen to strangers anymore and you tell me when it’s my turn at the stop signs will it make sense tomorrow will numbers do nothing to me is there something that i will outgrow and stop dreaming there’s something behind me well my knees have stopped working i wish i could too got more things left to go than i’ve got hours to do and you can’t forget to make time for the laundry yeah and that’s just another whose pile’s only grown will i be satisfied with the things that i own but i can’t help it at all if a sale’s on will it make sense tomorrow will numbers do nothing to me is there something that i will outgrow and stop dreaming there’s something behind me

agneau 02:50
burn it out jump until your feet are through the ground find a sacrificial lamb within and shed your body of the smell of him brûle saute, jusqu'à pieds traversent le sol trouve agneau sacrificiel l'intérieur et débarrasser ton corps son odeur versez-le hors du tonic, le ventre plein de gin par-dessus épaules, paranoïa bourdonne si je pouvais brûler que avons fait

underground 03:50
can you, can you tell me when the atom bomb is dancing through the clouds that you’ve done, what i’ve asked you that we’ve made amends and pocketed some rounds well i don’t wanna learn to speak russian and i don’t wanna live underground but some days the human rage is past discussion and you’ll be dead before you even hear the sound can you, can you tell me that we’d have enough if we needed to get by that we’ve done all the dancing in a seance and a prayer that they’ll comply but after all, someone’s mother didn’t raise em in a way that someone else could ever change and the questions only matter how you phrase em and the answers never matter either way can you, can you tell me was it meant to fall apart the way it did all i see, is the centuries of every novel innovation turned to shit yes it’s great that your uncle flies an airplane but there’s another dropping bombs up in the clouds and i’m sure that you’ve been honest with your campaign and that money’s unrelated to your crown can we all just call the spades as they’re standing before we’re laying next to them and eating ground

did you see my brand new phonograph it’s in the living room well i was aiming to impress you i filled it up the birdhouse in the yard its belly full of hope with knowing what could visit soon i don’t know how we made it through wyoming crossed the double line and we’d be done before we start but now we’re sleeping late on sunday and you’ll mow the lawn after my nightmares all are done the cat sits on the window frame and twitches at your tendencies to lean into the bluest notes i’m glad we lost the whole piano front i like to see the strings that shake and hum your grandiose
